Privacy Policy
What data the Werth Consulting website and our apps handle, why, and how to get it deleted.
Effective date: October 9, 2026
The short version
The website has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. The fonts are served from our own domain and we do not set cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is the light or dark theme you picked, and it stays on your device.
Our apps handle more, because they do more. Alektroni works with your Gmail and Google Calendar once you connect them. We use that data to run the features you use. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising. The details are below.
Who we are
Werth Consulting (“Werth Consulting,” “we,” “us”) is a business name used by its sole operator. It is not a separately incorporated company. You can reach us at info@werthconsulting.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers:
- the website at werthconsulting.com;
- Alektroni, our email and calendar app, currently in private beta;
- Dafdafan and Tafriton, which are early builds.
If an app shows you its own privacy notice, that notice adds to this policy for that app.
What this website collects
The website itself collects nothing from you directly. Specifically:
- No accounts, sign-ups or log-ins.
- No contact forms, comment fields or any other way to submit data to us here.
- No analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or session recording.
- No advertising and no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party scripts, embeds, widgets or iframes.
- No cookies set by us. Fonts, styles, images and scripts all come from werthconsulting.com, so loading a page does not contact anyone else.
Your theme preference
If you use the light and dark toggle, your choice is saved in your own browser using
localStorage under the key theme. The value is either
light or dark. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to our
servers, and we cannot read it.
Clearing your browser’s site data removes it. If you have never used the toggle, nothing is stored and the site follows your operating system setting.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes standard request data on our behalf: your IP address, your browser’s user agent, the page you requested, the time of the request and similar metadata. Any web server does this. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a working, secure site.
Cloudflare may sometimes set strictly necessary cookies of its own, for example for bot detection or abuse prevention. We do not control or read those cookies and we do not use them to identify visitors. Cloudflare’s own privacy terms govern that data.
We do not keep our own copy of website request logs and we do not build profiles from them.
If you email us
The only way to contact us from the website is to email info@werthconsulting.com. When you do, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach.
We use that to read and answer your message and to keep a record of the conversation, including any early access request. We do not add you to a mailing list. Our email is hosted by Google Workspace.
Alektroni
Alektroni is an email and calendar app, currently in private beta. It is available on the web and Android, with a macOS app in early beta and iOS coming soon. This section applies on every platform.
What Alektroni accesses
When you connect a Google account, Google asks you to approve the permissions Alektroni requests. Depending on what you approve, Alektroni can read, organize, draft and send email in your Gmail account and read and manage events in your Google Calendar. You can connect more than one Gmail account.
How Alektroni uses it
Alektroni uses this data only to provide the features you use, including:
- showing, searching and syncing your mail and calendar;
- sorting mail into bundles such as newsletters, receipts, travel and packages (see AI features below);
- finding orders and trips in your mail and tracking them on a timeline;
- drafting, sending and scheduling messages you ask it to send;
- reminders and notifications you turn on.
AI features
Some features, such as summaries, suggested replies and help writing a message, use an AI model. When you use one, the text that feature needs (for example the message being summarized) is sent to a third-party AI model provider to produce the result. Which provider gets it depends on the feature:
- Autocomplete while you write, and search translation, always use a model hosted on Hugging Face.
- The other AI features, including summaries, suggested replies, help writing a message, reading dates from travel booking emails, and calendar features, use the provider you choose. Alektroni lets you enter your own API key for Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT or xAI Grok. If you have not entered a key, these features also use the model hosted on Hugging Face.
When you use your own key, that provider handles the request under your agreement with it.
Sorting mail into bundles can also use an AI model, and this happens automatically, not only when you use an AI feature. Alektroni first tries its own sorting rules. When those rules cannot place a message, Alektroni sends the sender’s name or address, the subject and a short snippet of the message (up to about 200 characters) to a model hosted on Hugging Face, which picks a bundle for it. We store only the bundle it picks, not the text that was sent.
Open and click tracking
If you turn on tracking for a message you send, Alektroni adds a small image to that message and records when it is loaded, so it can tell you the message was opened. Each time the message is opened, Alektroni also records a hashed form of the recipient’s IP address, their device type and details of the browser or email app they used. Alektroni can also record which links in a tracked message were clicked.
Where the data is stored
Your Google sign-in tokens are stored on our servers, which run on Cloudflare, and are encrypted at rest. Depending on the features you use, our servers also keep:
- your connected accounts: the email address and name of each Google account you connect, and the markers Alektroni uses to keep up with changes in it;
- your preferences, including your signatures, your VIP contacts and, if you enter one, your AI provider API key, which is encrypted;
- the names of your Gmail labels;
- for upcoming calendar events, the event ID and start time, so Alektroni can send reminders. Event titles are not stored, and these records are deleted within a day or two after the event starts;
- previews of notifications: for new mail, the sender, subject and a short snippet; for opened messages, the recipient and subject. These are deleted after about 30 days;
- messages you schedule, including the full message, its recipients and subject. We also keep our copy of a scheduled message after it has been sent;
- for messages you send with tracking turned on, the subject, the recipient’s name and email address, the open records described above, and which links were clicked;
- follow-up reminders you set, including the subject and recipient of the message;
- which messages you snoozed and until when, and the bundle or category each message was sorted into;
- your to-dos, which can include text from a message you turned into a to-do;
- your sign-in sessions, including the IP address and browser details recorded for each one, and a list of the devices you are signed in on;
- sender pictures and company logos shown next to your mail;
- a short-lived cache of attachments and images you open, kept for up to about 24 hours so they load faster.
To work offline, the app keeps a copy of your mail on your own device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes that copy. If you enable push notifications, we store a notification subscription for that device.
Google user data and Limited Use
Alektroni’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features of the app that you use.
- We transfer Google user data to others only when needed to provide those features (for example to an AI provider when you use an AI feature, or to the model hosted on Hugging Face that sorts mail into bundles when Alektroni’s own rules cannot), to comply with the law, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with notice to you.
- We do not use or transfer Google user data for advertising, including targeted ads.
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI or machine learning models.
- No person reads your Google user data unless you give us permission for specific messages, it is needed for security purposes such as investigating abuse, it is required by law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
You can remove Alektroni’s access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Dafdafan
Dafdafan is an early build of a browser organized into spaces. It syncs your spaces and tabs through the app folder in your own Google Drive. Data is encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM before it is uploaded, and Dafdafan has no backend server of ours. We do not hold the decryption key and cannot read your synced data.
Dafdafan’s use of Google Drive data follows the same Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use commitments described above.
Tafriton
Tafriton is an early build of a family meal planner. It uses the household details you enter, such as household size, ages, diets and food preferences, along with your meal ratings and swaps, to plan meals and build shopping lists. We use that information only to run Tafriton for you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not show targeted advertising.
- We do not rent, trade or give your email address to other organizations.
We will disclose information if valid legal process requires it, or if we need to in order to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
How long we keep things
- Email correspondence. Kept while it is useful as a record of the conversation, then deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
- App data. Kept while your account is active. It is deleted when you delete your account, as described below.
- Website hosting logs. Kept by Cloudflare for its own limited operational and security periods. We do not extend them.
- Theme preference. Kept in your browser until you clear it.
Deleting your data
To delete your Alektroni account and the data Alektroni stores about you, email info@werthconsulting.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will complete your request within 30 days. A “Delete Account & All Data” option in the app’s settings is coming soon. Until it is ready, email is the way to delete your account.
Deleting your account removes from our servers your Alektroni account, your connected accounts and their sign-in tokens, your sign-in sessions and device list, your preferences, scheduled messages, follow-up reminders, tracking records, notification previews, snooze and category records, to-dos, label names, calendar reminder records, sender pictures stored for your account, and push notification subscriptions.
Some copies cannot be erased right away: our service logs, which are kept for a few days; cached attachments and images, which expire within about 24 hours; and error-monitoring records and database backups, which are kept for a limited time. All of these expire on their own.
Text already sent to an AI provider cannot be recalled, and each provider keeps it under its own rules.
The copy of your mail on your own device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
Removing Alektroni’s access in your Google Account stops it from reading new data. Delete your account as well if you want the stored data removed.
Dafdafan data lives in your own Google Drive. You can delete it there at any time. For Tafriton, or anything else, email us and we will delete what we hold.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy, so browsers load scripts, styles, fonts and frames only from our own domain. Alektroni stores sign-in tokens encrypted at rest and applies strict access checks.
No system is perfectly secure. We keep the risk down by collecting as little as each product needs.
Children
The website and our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
We operate from the United States, and our hosting and email providers run global infrastructure. If you use the website or our apps from another country, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where those providers operate, under privacy laws that differ from yours.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and not to be treated differently for using those rights. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have rights like these, as do people in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and other regions.
To use any of these rights, email info@werthconsulting.com. We will respond within the time the law allows, and we may need to confirm your identity first.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. We do not track you across sites, run analytics on the website, or sell or share personal information for advertising, so these signals do not change how the website or our apps behave.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on this page, and tell Alektroni users by email or in the app.
